Center of Excellence - Cement Research & Development Centre (CRDC)

To support the Jaypee group's cement manufacturing business, this centre has been established at Jaypee University of Engineering and Technology, Guna. As per our hon'ble Executive Chairman, CRDC needs to become fulcrum of research, debottlenecking and innovation, which can help us in getting ‘edge' over other competitors.

There are number of areas in the cement manufacturing which need special attention, particularly with respect to process techniques, environmental considerations, production methods, newer materials, broadening of raw material base, waste utilization, etc. Mostly the problems faced by cement plants are specific to local conditions and there are no ready- made solutions for these, and are to be addressed on case to case basis. Cement research and development centre can play a key role in dealing with all these issues in cement plants of this group.
